How we earn money

Budapest Trip contains affiliate links to tours and activities on GetYourGuide — our sole affiliate partner. When you click one of these links and complete a booking, we receive a small commission. This commission is paid by GetYourGuide, not by you — you pay exactly the same price whether you use our link or go directly.

We do not run tours ourselves, accept sponsored placements, or receive free tours in exchange for coverage. GetYourGuide is the only affiliate programme active on this site.

Our editorial independence

Affiliate partnerships do not influence our editorial decisions. We recommend activities we genuinely believe offer good value and memorable experiences for visitors to Budapest. If something is overpriced, poorly reviewed, or simply not worth the trip, we say so — or we don't list it at all. Our honest-planner content (tourist-trap warnings, budget realities, scam alerts) exists precisely because we prioritise visitor outcomes over commission volume.

How to identify affiliate links

Links to GetYourGuide open in a new tab and include rel="sponsored nofollow" as required by Google's guidelines. Call-to-action buttons labelled "Check availability", "Book now" or "See prices" are affiliate links. We do not hide or disguise this relationship.
